VietNamNet Bridge – Twenty-four episodes of the Chronicles on Laos series are set to be broadcast at 5.30pm every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday on Viet Nam Television's Channel 1.
Every 15 min episode will focus on the beauty and customs of Laos as well as the special relationship it has with Viet Nam and its people who live and work there.
Audiences will also have the opportunity to delve deeper into traditional Lao festivals such as the Bunpimay (New Year Festival) and Elephant festivals.
The TV series, compiled by the Ethnic Television Division (VTV5), in co-operation with the Nghe An Broadcasting and Television Station, sees the participation of MC Dieu Linh from Viet Nam Television and MC Hum Pheng from Laos National Television.
Do Quoc Khanh, chief of the filmmaking group, said that they "received a lot of help from Laos National Television in creating a quality series suitable for broadcast in both Viet Nam and Laos."
