We've dicussed about various subjects but I don't notice seeing one about Burma or Burmese, one of our closest neighbours.   Throughout history we've been at wars with them.  We even moved our Captial city from Luang Prabang to Viengchan because of their threats.  Why is that?  Some of you may say what's there to talk about but I'm just curious.

If you studied the real Lane Xang history you will get the right answer about that. I have a short history to share with all Lao people about the war in between Lane Xang and Burmese. Lane Xang defeated Burmese so many times when they came and tried to steal things from us, some time they won the fight but there was short time that they occupied our town, then we fought back and pushed them through out to deep inside Burmese territory. We never went to fight them in Burma, we was defended our territory and during that time we had only one single king was ruling our country. Burmese tried so hard and so many times to defeat Lane Xang but they couldn't, and later on they gave up and changed their direction faced head to  defeat Siam. King Saysethathiraj had helped Siam defeated Burmese twice  before Siam king offered his daughter married with our king. Lane Xang had never been under Burmese occupied like Siam, there was over 60 years Burmese occupied Siam.

Burmese war is different Siamese war against Lane Xang that's a main reason why we are not talking about Burmese but, SIAMESE!!!!!!!

Lao Lan Xang are tough fighter then Siamese(THai).  1989 war with Siamese(THai), laos PDR defeated the Siamese(THai)  both times.

Lao Lan Xang lost the war the the Siamese, is because the Siamese backstabbed Lao.  Lao and Khmer Helped Jek Taksin of Thornbury to defeat the Burmese army. Jek KIng Taksin of Ayuthaya was assassinated by Jek CHarki of Siam.

When Lan Xang inter fighting and spilts up into three Kindoms.  Siamese(THai) invaded.  But the ultimate betrayed was committed by the Lao Esan.  Lao Esan betrayed Lao people.
