Hello all, I’m exploring ISO 14001 environmental management certification for a mid-sized company in Kenya and wondering about the practicalities. The standard seems highly valuable for sustainability and international clients, but how achievable is it for businesses that don’t have prior ISO experience?
Has anyone in Nairobi, Mombasa, or Kisumu gone through this certification? Were there unexpected challenges, or did it help in improving processes and winning contracts? Any advice on whether it’s worth pursuing at this stage would be really appreciated.
