What methods work best for creating new hydrangea plants?

Gardeners employ some methods, but one of the most common is by cuttings. Layering is also practiced by some people, where the stems root and form new plants while still hanging on to the parent plant. All the above factors are important in successful hydrangea propagation. Propagating hydrangeas requires healthy plant material, a proper growing environment, and adequate moisture throughout the propagation process.
