How to Set up Intuit Data Protect?
The steps to set up Intuit Data protect are enumerated as follows:
Open your QuickBooks Company file on your computer or server.
From the File menu, select the backup provider to configure or enable online backup.
Use the same email address and password you used to sign up for Intuit Data Protect to log in. If you can't remember your password, you can use the intuit password reset tool. Please note that the IDP login may differ slightly.
Once the setup is complete, click "Next tab."
Select the QuickBooks company file and click "Proceed." Choose the folder where you want to store the backup, then click "Proceed."
Choose whether to backup local copies of the selected files and click "Next."
Select the files and folders you want to back up.
Click "Continue" and set up the daily backup schedule.
After that hit a click "Continue" and configure the notification settings.
