I personally dislike Lao police new uniform.....If possible I need them to change to khaki or balck color!!

Nice comparisons. But my personal preference: blue for police, green for military. Love the blues among Philippine policemen. LOL

I am just a Guest that I searching for free forum then I just end up in your forum.

I saw alot of good Lao Communist polices seems they had new uniform and better than before i lived in Vientiane. I hopefully one day they will change the System then we all Lao will go back to our own place of birth.

They would look more official if they were to have Dark Blue or Black color uniform. The Green symbolizes Military soldiers and and Black/Blue symbolizes Police Officers.

Although these officers appear very happy, they also look alike. In my opinion, regardless of how these lao officers look, there are a few that are corrupted and seek monetary assessment from violating offenders because these officer do not make very much money. When this occurs, violating offenders pay's these officers not to write them ticket and or take them to jail, thus provide them with a laotian last name that holds rank withing the community. This usually works and gets them out of trouble at the same time suppliment the officers salary.
