Nice picture!!  Nice reflection from the water fountain.


What can you learn from this photo?

HHhhmmm...  Generation gap...  the younger monk is helping out the master.  Other than that, I don't see anything to be learn from.

well today monk is hi-tec they have evrything cell phone video TV camcorder sattlelite ipot xxxCD is not like monk before some monk have dinner everynight LAP PA LAP XIN they verygood no sin at alll

That young monk may have been listening to Thed Sana on his IPOD. Anyway, the older monk looks ill as they stopped at Patouxai from Mahosot hospital and he got helped with his ropes.

i closed my eyes after seeing the image.
moment after, i can see myself as that little monk.


this image represents a sight of which a tradition of the old is
being symbolically passed over to the young.

such symbolic sight is being played out in this amazing real life photography.  brushteeth.gif

older monk teaches young monks how to wear the yellow robe. 
Believe me, it's not easy to wear that yellow robe, it took me a while to wear it right while i was a monk for couple weeks.

All said and done. bottom line, eventhough we are up to date with technology we do not forget our roots " nup thue lae kau lop kou ba ar charn".  Lao people are best describe Buddhism.  we are peacefull people.
