Foreigners get to know lao more compare to the past why? - words from mouth to mouth - source from internet - lao people living abroad promotes about Laos - the big international conference, submit and big events in Laos
Disadvantages: - the promotion/advertisement by Lao tourism authority has not yet been increased at all - the transportation/ infrastructure has not yet been improved significantly - the visa free for Japan, korean, usa, etc... has not yet succeeded - international flights has not yet been succeeded - a lot of tourist places tried to get more money from foreign visitors - hotels/ guest houses in vientiane, luang prabang are too expensive
having to make two stops before you can land in VTE is very discouraging.
peple are not enthused about sometimes having to sleep over in the neighboring country when it's only an hour flight across the mekong river.
the thought of sleeping in the airport or getting straned along with the internal tormoil and the crying violence of a foreign country gives me a fright and is enough to postpone a vacation. ha.
having said that, i still sometimes can hear a beaconing sound deep within the motherland, the voice and songs of alexandra, tugging and serenading on my heartstring...tinko, please come visit. okay, i will!! i will later, okay?

No, this is not a homework, a question looks like the homework isn' it? the majority of visitors live in aboard, especially Lao folks from the US, Some of your valuable opinion would be great to develop Lao tourism industry in Laos.
